Dr. Raavee Kadam
A practitioner turned academic, Raavee obtained her doctoral degree in Business Management from BITS Pilani Dubai Campus. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Pune.
Raavee’s research program is multi-disciplinary and addresses the impact of cultural diversity at individual, team and organizational level. Her doctoral thesis focused on Cultural Intelligence as a critical capability for individuals working in a multicultural environment. In terms of traditional fields of study, her research program focuses on topics such as organizational behavior, human resource management, cross-cultural and intra-national differences, multicultural teams, diversity & inclusion and entrepreneurship. Her work has been published in leading ABDC listed international journals and she has presented her research at several national and international conferences. She was one of the two doctoral students selected globally to be awarded the Doctoral Institute scholarship by the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, USA.
Prior to commencing her PhD, she has worked in the IT industry in various capacities as SAP Project Lead, SAP HCM Functional Consultant and as a Software Engineer. She has been duly recognized by clients and the leadership team for her contribution to different projects and won awards such as Star of the Quarter, On the Spot Award, etc. She has freelanced as a SAP HCM trainer and provided extensive training to both functional consultants as well as end-users. She is a Certified Online Educator from the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), Dubai.
